The honest cost
All-in monthly cost (energy, delivery, and fees together) at the three standard usage levels, per delivery area. Advertised rates only tell you the price at exactly 1,000 kWh.
These are the last figures we recorded, on August 4, 2026. They include the TDU delivery charges in effect then. Delivery charges are reset at least twice a year (March 1 and September 1, plus interim adjustments), so a bill today would differ even if the plan were still sold.

The catch
Monthly base charge of $9.95, before any electricity is used.
Time-of-use plan: prices here assume a typical mix of cheap and full-price hours. Heavier use during full-price hours costs more than shown. A free or discounted window zeroes the provider's energy charge only: TDU delivery of roughly 5 to 6 cents per kWh is billed on every kWh in every hour, so "free" hours are half-price, not free.
The price above assumes you enroll in autopay: the EFL folds in a $5.00/mo credit you forfeit by paying another way. Most shoppers enroll and pay exactly this price; the credit lapses only if you opt out or a draft fails.
At the end of the term, this plan renews itself onto a month-to-month variable rate, and the final expiration notice can arrive as little as 30 days before the switch. Holdover rates usually run well above the contract rate, so mark the end date and shop again.
